Job Description


Engineer is required, with a background in engineering & time-served experience, to work in our busy friendly engineering company.


This vacancy would suit someone who has experience in Milling / Turning, using conventional machines such as manual: Mills / Lathes & Vertical-Boring Machines.


· Would be required to machine components to tight tolerances.


· Would be required to read & understand engineering drawings, along with machining replacement components from samples.


· Taper-boring skills would be a great advantage, but not essential.


· Possible workshop bench-work experience would be useful, for stripping down & inspecting components.


· Must be conscientious, punctual, reliable, and show good teamwork.


· Hours: 39 per week, plus possible overtime.


· Wages: Weekly Pay, wage-rate would be reflected on experience & performance.
