Pye London provides a fast turnaround refurbishment service for your lift components. Traction sheaves and diverter pulleys can be re-grooved and refurbished typically within 24 hours of receipt at our works (if required we can offer this service on a same day basis), meaning that you can return your customers lift back to service with minimum delay.

Our engineering facility provides the following services:


  • Complete gearbox refurbishments.
  • ” Overhaul and re-calibration of overspeed governor units.
  • Manufacture gear and motor beds plates and rafts, fully machined to your specification.
  • Supply and modify adaptor plates for gears and motors.
  • Bolt, line and level motors to gears.
  • Supply all types of brake and gear couplings, fully machined and fitted to your gear and motor shaft.
  • Supply filler or balance weights to suit your requirements.
